Butch McGuire’s has been serving drinks since 1961 and food since 1965. Our hours have changed as well as some of our offerings, but we still make every single thing to order.
We take pride in offering great food, not bar food, which is why we buy a lot of our ingredients from other family owned business like ourselves. We get our Corned Beef custom cut from Ex-Cel, a locally owned shop serving Chicago since 1951. Our jellies are from Radtke Farms, who have a booth in the Division St. Farmers Market all summer long.

Please Note: Butch’s does not take reservations. We are on a first come,first serve basis. Your party must be complete before seating. However, if at any time you’d like a table, talk to your bartender or ask to see a doorman and he will accommodate you to the best of his abilities. The holidays are busy and in order to give everyone a chance to enjoy the decorations, after you have eaten please release your table to the host.
